The season is upon us. Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas decorations are beginning to appear.

Dec . 2 - the Officers Meeting will be held at PGK Frank Coasta's home.

Dec . 25 - BIRTH OF OUR LORD!

PGK Brad Schieferstein received information about a mentoring program being offered by the Valley Community Health Center. Mentors are needed to assist with at-risk middle school students. If you can help, call Stephanie Grimes 925-201-6225 for more information. The Crab Feed is Jan 15. Line up your group and call PGK Brad Schieferstein for tickets . We also need 2 more Knights to make calls advising past crab feed attendees of this years date and cost. Remember this is our major fund raiser so please become involved. Dec. is also the month to mention to the family that St. Augustine's Men's Retreat is Feb. 2000 and it would make a wonderful Christmas gift. The Thanksgiving basket deliveries was great. Twenty-seven Knights, friends of Knights and parishioners joined in God's work. Bro. Bob Racine has moved to Escondido, Ca. This was due to health reasons. Below is his address and e-mail address. Scholarship: The Knights of Columbus are offering scholarship to college bound students . You only need to be a family member of a Knight to apply. The flyer with information will be at the December meeting. Red , Blue and Gold Dinner: We are looking for a Knight to head up our nominees. Contact GK Ron Silva at 846-9543 if you are available. The dinner is scheduled for May 2000. The reason for the early request is that the Police Department and the Fire Department have to select a nominee and get that name to us.
