Costello Council #6043 KC:March 29, 1882, the state of Connecticut granted a charter to Fr. McGivney to form the Knights of Columbus. This year we celebrate our 118th anniversary. Happy Founders Days. March 9th at our regular business meeting we will be holding a First Degree Exemplification. Join in welcoming our new Brother Knights. Also on that day we will be taking sign ups for our Easter basket deliveries. Please call GK Ron Silva to sign up, 846-9543. March 12th is the Donut Social call PGK Rich Garcia to help. The March officer's meeting will be held at PGK Frank Costa's home. The April officers meeting will be held at GK Ron Silva's home. March 18th is the date for our long time coming Christmas Party. Call Bro. Rob Csongor for more details. See you there. On Feb. 27th, DGK Bandong accompanied four Second Degree Knights to a Third Degree ceremony in Fremont. Congratulations to all who moved upwards in God's Army. Mark April 9th on your calendar. That is the date of the dedication of St. Elizabeth Seton. There will be a champagne reception. Our council has been asked to pour and supply the champagne and cider. Sign up at the business meeting in March or call GK Ron Silva, 846-9543. Think about becoming an officer in our council?
