Dear Knights of Columbus...
"We are all members of the Fourth Grade class.
With your help we brought in over $1,400.00. We not only
spelled well, but worked hard getting sponsors... Again,
thanks to you, we get fifty AR Reader books to add our
class library."

With Seniors?
Share your fun times with a senior and volunteer with the
Senior Support Program. You can enrich a senior's life by
sharing a hobby, writing a letter, going for a drive,
helping with a pet, driving to an appointment, doing some
yard work, helping with errands, or assisting in the
office. For more information, please call Claire Kalantar
at the Senior Support Program, 925-462-7643, Valley
Community Health Center. About 200 seniors registered
with the "Friendly Visiting" program are always
in need of more volunteers.
It is spring, and I feel like
writing. I'm glad we got our Christmas party, for a
minute there I had my doubts. You could see a touch of
green here and there, Nancy stole that show with her St.
Patrick tie. Our year is growing to a close, but it's not
over by a long shot. There are many events to go, and I
want to thank GK Ron and his officers for doing such an
outstanding job with our events. As your worthy Trustee,
I was lucky to have participated in many of the events.
Of course, the Crab Feed really stands out in my memory.
Under the leadership of PGK Brad Schieferstein, it turned
out to be one of the best in my thirteen years with the
Knights.
An event coming up soon, on April 9th, is the celebration
of St. Elizabeth Seton. I am taking this opportunity to
invite all the members of our council to attend this
worthy event.
My thanks to Bro. Rob Csongor and his wife Kim for being
such great hosts for our Christmas party on March 18.
My congratulations to our new members, and I invite them
come out and participate I our events.
Wishing you a very happy Easter,
PGK Richard R. Garcia
