Costello Council #6043 KC:Easter and His glorious rising has come and gone. I hope each of you enjoyed this special and holy time of the year. A large thank you to all the Brother Knights who helped with the delivery of the Easter baskets. May 12th is the date for the Red, Blue and Gold Dinner. Bro Ruckteschler spearheaded the affair and did a wonderful job. Thank you Bro Lance. May 19-21 is the state convention and DGK Bandong and Bro. Greg Jones will be our delegates. A safe and fulfilling journey to them. Just a quick note about another special day in May. This is May 14th, Mother's Day. To all the mothers or mothers to be, a special warm and blessed day to you. Mothers have a special place in our hearts and will always continue to do so. Included in the newsletter is a list of Bro Knights who have been nominated to serve as next years officers. We thank them for saying "yes". We will be holding elections in June at our business meeting. I also have placed an article in the newsletter about our upcoming Salmon Fishing Trip. If you are interested in going, please let me know as soon as possible. We are only taking 25 on the boat. Last year, I had to say we are full to three people. The May officers meeting will be at Bro. Greg Jones home. The June officers meeting will be at GK Ron Silva's home. May the Lord bestow his blessings on each of you. Ron Silva Grand Knight |
