Greg Jones will be serving his second year of a 3-year term Financial Secretary post. He has done a marvelous job in his first year stint. Returning in their offices and bringing the practical experiences they've gained are Bro. Paul Hill for his third year in a row as Council Treasurer, Bro. John Rabada for his second year as Inside Guard, and Bro. Hal Wilson for his second year as Council Recorder . Hal has done a superb job in getting our meeting minutes in great order.

There was plenty of help from veteran and new knights alike for the Deanery Picnic this past May 21. I would like to express my gratitude to PGK Rich Garcia and Bro. Don King for covering for me during the early shift as I made my trip back from the State Convention to the picnic. I thought we had far fewer parishioners this year compared to last year's picnic. This showed in our sales! We just broke even with our costs. Our main gain was in the hard goods left and some burger patties and hot dogs that PGK Lou Santero will use for the baseball game tailgate party this coming June 3 weekend. Nothing beats, however, the camaraderie that builds up among the brother knights that were present!

We 're closing this CY with our traditional Progressive Dinner on the 24th of June. Come and join us as host knights or guests for this wonderful event were you get to personally know member knights and their families. Due to the unavailability of the Church Hall for a Sunday afternoon in June, we are postponing our Family Friendship Dinner to for July 23, a good way to start the new Columbian Year.
